First doctoral candidate arrival

Aleksandra Petrenko has joined the Chair of Management of Digital Food Business as a doctoral candidate this January. She graduated with an M.Sc. in Business Administration, majoring in Operations Research and Machine Learning. Her master’s thesis focused on the project KiMoNo – a pilot initiative for human specimen delivery using drones in the Passau area.

Before pursuing an academic career, Aleksandra worked in supply chain planning digitalization in FMCG and IT consulting companies.

Her research interests include decision-making under uncertainty, demand forecasting, inventory management, and sustainability in supply chains. Beyond academia, Aleksandra loves animals and enjoys singing, playing the piano, and learning foreign languages.
