Chair of Operations Management
We are welcoming you at the Chair of Operations Management, led by Prof. Dr. Rainer Kolisch. The teaching and research at the chair is centering on the application of Operations Research methods for analyzing and optimizing Operations Management problems. Current research topics are Scheduling, Routing, Health Care Operations, Airport Operations, Project Scheduling and Management, as well as Make-to-Order and Engineer-to-Order Operations.

Chair takes part in the GPOM doctoral workshop at the University of Regensburg

On 3 July, the Chair participated in the Graduate Program in Operations Management (GPOM) doctoral workshop, organized by Prof. Dr. Justus Schwarz from the Production Management Chair at the University of Regensburg. Forty-six researchers from eleven chairs at six Universities took part in the workshop. Deepthi Cherullil Padinjaroot presented her work on ‘Planning of Ambulift Operations at Airports for Passengers with Reduced Mobility’, and Argjend Fejzulahi presented his work on 'Robust Optimization of the Flexible Resource-Constrained Project Scheduling Problem' both from the Chair of Operations Management.
