During the 13th Scientific Symposium of the Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik, BME) in Mannheim, our alumnus Dr. Christian Mandl was awarded with the BME-Wissenschaftspreis 2020 (Science Prize) for his disseration entitled "Optimal Procurement and Inventory Control in Volatile Commodity Markets – Advances in Stochastic and Data-Driven Optimization“. This renowned prize is awarded annually for excellent dissertations in the field of procurement and supply management. Congratulations!
