Chair of Operations Management

We are welcoming you at the Chair of Operations Management, led by Prof. Dr. Rainer Kolisch. The teaching and research at the chair is centering on the application of Operations Research methods for analyzing and optimizing Operations Management problems. Current research topics are Scheduling, Routing, Health Care Operations, Airport Operations, Project Scheduling and Management, as well as Make-to-Order and Engineer-to-Order Operations.

Argjend Fejzulahi Wins Hackathon at Constraint Programming Masterclass

Argjend Fejzulahi, a doctoral student at the Chair of Operations Management, recently attended a masterclass on Constraint Programming for Scheduling. The masterclass was part of the 20th International Workshop on Project Management and Scheduling, which took place from April 14–16 at the research laboratory LAAS-CNRS in Toulouse. Featured within the curriculum was a hackathon, where Argjend and his team won the first prize.
