Top News |

Jointly with Thomas Fliedner from A.T. Kearney, Rainer Kolisch has published a book chapter entitled “A Decision Support System for Planning Portfolios of Supply Chain Improvement Projects in the Semiconductor Industry” in the book “Evolutionary and Memetic Computing for Project Portfolio Selection and Scheduling”, edited by Harrison et al.

The contribution presents a decision support system in order to select projects for improving the supply chain of a global semiconductor manufacturer. At the core of the system is an integer programming model optimizing the value of the project portfolio while taking into account project interdependencies and multiple objectives via aspiration levels. A case study provides insight on the benefit of the proposed system. The link to the book chapter is link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-030-88315-7_8.
