Sebastian Schiffels and Guido Voigt have published a paper on "Capacity Reservation and Wholesale Price Contracts under Forecast Sharing: A Behavioral Assessment" in Production and Operations Management. The paper considers a supply chain setup where a buyer has private customer demand information that she can share with the supplier. The authors address whether the supplier benefits from installing nonlinear capacity reservation contracts rather than wholesale price contracts. The manuscript will be available from the journal's website soon or upon request from the authors.
