Sebastian Schiffels and Guido Voigt have published a paper on "Capacity Reservation and Wholesale Price Contracts under Forecast Sharing: A Behavioral Assessment" in Production and Operations Management. The authors address whether the supplier benefits from installing nonlinear capacity reservation contracts rather than wholesale price contracts.
