The paper “Should We All Work in Sprints? How Agile Project Management Improves Performance” by Tobias Lieberum (TUM), Sebastian Schiffels (Lancaster University) and Rainer Kolisch (TUM) was selected by the INFORMS TIME section as paper of the month.

In the paper, which is accepted for publication by Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, we show: People spend too much time on early tasks when they are free to progress at their pace. Agile sprints mitigate this effect.
