Chair of Operations Management
We are welcoming you at the Chair of Operations Management, led by Prof. Dr. Rainer Kolisch. The teaching and research at the chair is centering on the application of Operations Research methods for analyzing and optimizing Operations Management problems. Current research topics are Scheduling, Routing, Health Care Operations, Airport Operations, Project Scheduling and Management, as well as Make-to-Order and Engineer-to-Order Operations.

Prof. Kolisch becomes member of the Senate of the Technical University of Munich

Prof. Kolisch has been elected to become one of the 6 Professors in the Senate of the Technical University of Munich. The term of the newly elected senate runs from October 2025 to September 2028. The Senate participates in strategic decision-making and the enhancement of research and teaching. It is involved in creating and modifying degree programs, providing opinions on appointments, and adopting central legal provisions for the university.
