Chair of Operations Management

We are welcoming you at the Chair of Operations Management, led by Prof. Dr. Rainer Kolisch. The teaching and research at the chair is centering on the application of Operations Research methods for analyzing and optimizing Operations Management problems. Current research topics are Scheduling, Routing, Health Care Operations, Airport Operations, Project Scheduling and Management, as well as Make-to-Order and Engineer-to-Order Operations.

Rainer Kolisch appointed as Program Committee Member of the Scheduling Seminar

Rainer Kolisch has been appointed as a member of the program committee of the Scheduling Seminar, jointly with Edmund Burke (University of Leicester), Ronda Righter (UC Berkeley), and Christian Artigues (LAAS-CNRS), amongst others. The Scheduling Seminar is a worldwide virtual seminar on scheduling research and applications to discuss both the field's newest advancements and surveys of traditional areas. The seminar takes place biweekly on Wednesdays. The first seminar entitled "Elements of Scheduling" will be given by Karel Lenstra and Davis Shmoys on March 31 at 1 p.m. More information on the seminar is available at https://schedulingseminar.com/.
