Chair of Operations Management

We are welcoming you at the Chair of Operations Management, led by Prof. Dr. Rainer Kolisch. The teaching and research at the chair is centering on the application of Operations Research methods for analyzing and optimizing Operations Management problems. Current research topics are Scheduling, Routing, Health Care Operations, Airport Operations, Project Scheduling and Management, as well as Make-to-Order and Engineer-to-Order Operations.

Doctoral Defense of Eunji Lee


Eunji Lee, former researcher at the chair of Logistics and Supply Chain Management successfully defended her doctoral thesis with the title "Information Sharing and Coordination in Supply Chains".

In her dissertation, Ms. Lee worked on bilateral information sharing rules and the impact of decision sequence on supply chains under uncertainty.

In February 2024, she starts a position as a Junior Professor at the University of Mannheim.
