Chair of Operations Management

We are welcoming you at the Chair of Operations Management, led by Prof. Dr. Rainer Kolisch. The teaching and research at the chair is centering on the application of Operations Research methods for analyzing and optimizing Operations Management problems. Current research topics are Scheduling, Routing, Health Care Operations, Airport Operations, Project Scheduling and Management, as well as Make-to-Order and Engineer-to-Order Operations.

The Anna Valicek Medal recognizes original and innovative research in the application of operations research to airline and/or airline related business problems. This award is sponsored by the Airline Group of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (AGIFORS).

The award committee selected Maximilian as finalist for the Anna Valicek Medal 2019. Maximilian is invited to present his research to the award committee at the 59th Annual Symposium of AGIFORS held from September 30 to October 4, 2019 in Seattle, USA.
