Chair of Operations Management

We are welcoming you at the Chair of Operations Management, led by Prof. Dr. Rainer Kolisch. The teaching and research at the chair is centering on the application of Operations Research methods for analyzing and optimizing Operations Management problems. Current research topics are Scheduling, Routing, Health Care Operations, Airport Operations, Project Scheduling and Management, as well as Make-to-Order and Engineer-to-Order Operations.

On February 13 & 14 Sebastian Schiffels organizes the second GOR Working Group Meeting „Game Theory & Behavorial Management Science“

The working group aims at fostering collaboration and state-of-the-art researchat the interface of behavioral management science and behavioral & algorithmic game theory. Targeted research fields include management,economics, computer science, mathematics and other related fields considering game-theoretical approaches. The relevant methodology incorporates cooperative and non-cooperative game theory as well as experiments and field studies.
