Chair of Operations Management

We are welcoming you at the Chair of Operations Management, led by Prof. Dr. Rainer Kolisch. The teaching and research at the chair is centering on the application of Operations Research methods for analyzing and optimizing Operations Management problems. Current research topics are Scheduling, Routing, Health Care Operations, Airport Operations, Project Scheduling and Management, as well as Make-to-Order and Engineer-to-Order Operations.

Research assistant Alexander Bloemer completes research visit at NC State with Tim Kraft

From January to April 2024, PhD student and research assistant Alexander Bloemer stayed for a research visit at North Carolina State University, Poole College of Management.

There, he had the opportunity to work with Prof. Tim Kraft, PhD, a leading expert on sustainability and transparency in supply chains, on a new research project.

We are grateful for the chance to conduct research together while spending time at the Research Triangle, and hope to return soon!
