We are welcoming you at the Chair of Operations Management, led by Prof. Dr. Rainer Kolisch. The teaching and research at the chair is centering on the application of Operations Research methods for analyzing and optimizing Operations Management problems. Current research topics are Scheduling, Routing, Health Care Operations, Airport Operations, Project Scheduling and Management, as well as Make-to-Order and Engineer-to-Order Operations.

We are searching for a Working Student (m/f/d) starting April 1, 2024 or earlier. The workload would be between 8 and 12 hours weekly.

This position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an innovative project focusing on the analysis and optimization of global transportation and logistics. You will gain hands-on experience in collecting and developing datasets for advanced research in these fields. At the same time, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing our IT-infrastructure, crucial for supporting our advanced logistics projects.
