Short Biography

Banu is a research associate at the Professorship of Business Analytics & Intelligent Systems at TUM School of Management. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering at Bilkent University. She completed her masters also in Industrial Engineering at Koç University. Before joining TUM, she was working as an operations research engineer at a startup company in Turkey. Her research interests revolve around developing exact and heuristic algorithms for urban logistics and transportation problems.

In her spare time, Banu enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her dog.
