Brief description
Greater computing power, increased connectivity and the explosion of data are changing the way companies analyze information and make decisions. With prizes such as the Franz Edelman Award and the Daniel H. In this seminar we will discuss papers that recently received such an award and learn how methods and tools in operations research and management science are used to transform businesses and industries.
- All presentations have to be given in English.
- The presentations will be scheduled on 1 (whole) day at the end of the semester (no weekly meetings).
- There will be an organizational meeting in the second week of lectures.
