The German Society for Operations Research (GOR) annually awards a prize to excellent master theses in Operations Research.
This year, our student Anita Regler was awarded for her thesis entitled “Data-Driven Integrated Production and Maintenance Optimization”. Under the supervision of Dr. Christian Mandl and in cooperation with KPMG IT Consulting, Mrs. Regler developed data-driven and feature-based algorithms for integrated optimization of production and maintenance planning under uncertainty in machine breakdowns based on an asymmetric traveling salesman formulation.
The prize was awarded during the GOR Annual Conference in Dresden. Congratulations!
