Donghao Zhu, former research associate at the chair of Logistics and Supply Chain Management and part of the research training group "Advanced Optimization in a Networked Economy", successfully defended his doctoral thesis with the title "On-Demand Service Platform Design".

In his dissertation, he worked on various platform design problems using stochastic modeling, including information disclosure design and pricing policy.

In 2024, he started a position as Project Assistant Professor at the Institute of Statistical Mathematics in Tokyo, Japan.
