Christian Mandl, research associate at the chair of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, is currently staying at Cornell University in Ithaca (New York). Together with Prof. Nagesh Gavirneni (Cornell University) and Assistant Prof. Selva Nadarajah (University of Illinois at Chicago), he is working on data-driven optimization and machine learning with application to inventory control at commodity warehouses. Cornell is one of the leading research universities worldwide and member of the Ivy League.
