Annually, the BVL (Bundesvereinigung Logistik) rewards young scientists for their outstanding Bachelor, Master, and degree theses. Sarah Pfaffinger was awarded for her Bachelor thesis "A Mixed Integer Linear Program for Multiple Pickup and Delivery Vehicle Routing Problems" at the International Supply Chain Conference at the end of October in Berlin.. Her work presents a solution method for a real-world Vehicle Routing Problem with multiple suppliers and customers. The work was supervised by Dr. Pirmin Fontaine.
