Short Biography

Niels is a Ph.D. student at the Professorship of Business Analytics & Intelligent Systems at TUM School of Management as well as Infineon Technologies. He obtained a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Operations Research from RWTH Aachen University. This included a semester abroad at University of California, Berkeley. His research focus lies on machine learning methods for scheduling and dispatching in semiconductor frontend manufacturing.

In his free time, Niels enjoys cooking, playing Tennis and all sorts of outdoor activities.
