Short Biography

Simon is a Ph.D. student at the Professorship of Business Analytics and Intelligent Systems at TUM School of Management and the Chair of Operations Management at RWTH Aachen. Previous to his Ph.D., he completed a Bachelor and a Master of Science in Mathematics at the University of Bonn and a Master of Science in Business Analytics at Imperial College London. His research focuses on the development of robust optimization techniques with applications to network and supply chain design.

When not at work, Simon enjoys doing different kinds of sports including climbing and skiing and he loves engaging in interdisciplinary discussions on the current challenges of humanity.
